This handcrafted pedestal column draws inspiration from classical millwork, reinterpreted through a refined rustic finish. Its clean recessed panels, stepped base, and substantial top create strong vertical lines that anchor a room without overpowering it.

Finishes:
Antique: The finish is intentionally layered and textured — a weathered, hand-distressed surface that reveals subtle tonal variation and exposed grain beneath soft whitewashing. Each piece carries unique character marks, ensuring no two columns are identical.
Old English: The finish is acquired by burning. This creates a textured finish that you can feel with the latewood rising up as ridges under your fingers. It gives that look and feel of a hundred-year-old piece of furniture. Burning offers some protection of the wood, but a satin polyurethane is available upon request (this will significantly darken the appearance).
Walnut: Stained with our special blend to more closely mimic the color of finished walnut than you’re able to find from stains sold in the store.
Black Distressed: A JM EcLectic favorite, the pedestal is finished with black paint and distressed around the edges to give an authentic-looking age to it. Finished with a smooth-to-the-touch topcoat of satin polyurethane.
Ebony: Stained with an ebony stain and finished with a topcoat of satin polyurethane.
